Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has been eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” and “The Insider” gained access backstage to find out how the cast was handling the news. “It was quite predictable for us to think that it was going to be us,” said The Situation’s former partner Karina Smirnoff, revealing that the couple expected to be booted off the show Tuesday night. “[The Situation] has so much more in him to show to America,” Karina continued. “I think his time was cut a little bit short on the show.” The Situation will be missed around the “Dancing” studio. Bristol Palin will miss his positive attitude, while Audrina Patridge will miss his work ethic. In the past, The Situation has voiced his desire to alter America’s perception of him and Rick Fox thinks that he achieved his goal, saying, “He’s also given, I think, America a different side of him that they might not have known of if they just watched him on “Jersey Shore.” Tune in next Monday for an all new “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC.
