“The Insider” went backstage at “Dancing with the Stars” and chatted with R&B star
Ne-Yo about whether he would ever compete on the show, collaborate with
Lady Gaga or guest star on ‘Glee.’ “Yeah, I’d love to be on ["Dancing with the Stars"],” said Ne-Yo, who performed on Tuesday night’s show. The singer went on to say: “However… I’m not as good a dancer as I appear to be, so I might be a little intimidated.” If he does join the “Dancing” cast, Ne-Yo already has an ideal partner in mind. He would like to team up with
Cheryl Burke, who he worked with previously on a music video. The soulful crooner has already collaborated with big name stars such as:
Mary J. Blige,
Jamie Foxx and
Kanye West. Who else would the Grammy winner like to work with? Ne-Yo said he’s a fan of Lady Gaga and he would “love to see what it would be like to either jump into her world or bring her into [his world].” “Glee” is another show that Ne-Yo showed an interest in, saying, “I think a Ne-Yo theme on ‘Glee’ might be kind of hot.” Ne-Yo’s fourth album,
Libra Scale, comes out November 22. And tune in next Monday for an all new “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC.
